York at Christmas - Day Itinerary
09:00 – Depart Greater Manchester
Your festive day begins as we leave Greater Manchester (Pick Up Point TBC). Please arrive 10 minutes early. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a comfortable drive north as we head for the historic city of York. The driver will give a short safety briefing and confirm the York drop‑off and meeting point for the return.
~11:00 – Arrive in York (6 - Hour Visit)
We aim to arrive in York around 11:00. You’ll have six hours to explore at your own pace — wander the Shambles, visit York Minster, stroll the city walls, browse the Christmas markets, or find a cosy café for lunch. Keep valuables secure and note the meeting point the driver gives you. If you’d like, you could also enjoy museums such as the Jorvik Viking Centre or the National Railway Museum, more shopping, or a relaxed coffee..
17:00 – Boarding at Agreed Meeting Point
Please be at the agreed boarding point by 17:00 so we can begin a final headcount so we can depart on time. The driver will remind everyone of the exact meeting location earlier in the day.
17:15 – Depart York
We depart York promptly at 17:15 for the return journey to Greater Manchester. Please be seated with your belongings as we set off.
~19:00 – Arrive Back in Greater Manchester
We expect to return to Greater Manchester at approximately 19:00, traffic permitting. Drop‑off will be the same as the pickup point (TBC).
