WILDLIFE IN NORTH WALES

Wildlife in North Wales Trip

Bring the whole family for a relaxing and exciting day exploring the wildlife of North Wales. This gentle, scenic excursion is perfect for children, parents, and grandparents who enjoy fresh air, nature, and discovering animals in their natural habitats.

RSPB Conwy (Outside the Reserve)

Our adventure begins just outside the RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve, where families can enjoy spotting a variety of birds along the estuary. Children will love looking out for Little Egrets, Shelducks, Grey Herons, and the busy Oystercatchers feeding along the shoreline. With your own binoculars or camera, you may even catch a glimpse of a colourful Kingfisher darting across the water. Entry into the reserve is optional, though additional fees may apply.

Depart Conwy for Llandudno

We then continue to Llandudno and make our way up the Great Orme, a fantastic place for families to explore safely at their own pace. The Great Orme is home to the famous Kashmiri Goats, which children always love to spot, as well as Ravens, Kestrels, and other fascinating birds. It’s a brilliant opportunity for kids to learn about wildlife while enjoying the stunning views.

Free Time in Llandudno

After some time exploring, we’ll stop for refreshments at the Rest and Be Thankful Café (subject to opening). Afterwards, you’ll have free time in Llandudno to enjoy the beach, promenade, or shops before we head home.

This is a calm, enjoyable day out designed for families who want to make memories together in the great outdoors.
